The songs written by Clapton and Whitlock
The Gear: Clapton's Fender stratocaster, Allman's Gibson Les Paul, Whitlock's Hammond B-3 organ
Clapton meets The Allman Brothers Band and invites Duane to the studio while project underway
Layla, the title song breakdown, piano solo and mystery of its origin and inclusion at the end of the song
The album's recording: Subpar sound at best. Why?
