Equipment For Sale

Free Stuff, Free Stuff - Woohoo!!
Author Last Post

Here's your opportunity... make my "old" junk your "new" junk!!

This may be a waste of everyone’s time and if so, I apologize up front! In going through years of music related “stuff” I have found some items that might be useful to someone who is either a collector or still plays CDs or cassettes. All of the items are free to anyone who has access to our website.

One Sony Discman ESP portable. I think this is the one that everyone raved about being better than most CD players at the time. It appears to play and sounds surprisingly good, but I put used batteries (a backup set) and I’m not sure of their state-of-charge. It appeared to be stopping and starting the recording. I also have a couple of Sony 4.5v car power supplies for the Discman. (Plugs into the power receptacle, or what we used to call the cigarette lighter plug!)

I have a Sony 9v car power supply. No idea what equipment used it.

For those of you who have not yet made the leap to a CD Player in your car and are still rockin’ that old cassette player, I have two Sony Discman Car Connecting Packs which allow you to plug your portable Discman into your cassette player!

I have also discovered a treasure trove of pre-recorded and home recorded cassette tapes. There are a number of Christmas, Country-Western, and mainstream R&R tapes from the 70s through the early 90s you are welcome to!

All of this wonderfulness is free. Here’s the catch. I need it to be gone. If y’all haven’t claimed it by one week from today… Monday, February 28, 2022, I will donate it all to Good Will and let them try to figure out what all that “stuff” is! It ought to keep the kids amused for a short period before they give up and throw it out!
